Let me introduce myself!

Hi everyone!

My name is Catalin Baicu, a freelance web designer, front-end web developer and WordPress developer. Here you can find some information about me and what I do.
Being hooked up to the latest technologies in the web design & Development universe! I constantly get updated to the latest technologies and create professional, compatible and responsive websites that fits into any screen sizes, just right! Anything from static to dynamic website type projects from bootstrap frameworks and up to WordPress themes and plugins, all that with focus on pixel precise designs and always with accessibility and mobile first responsive designs in mind. I can’t stress enough how much I love to design professional websites!

My opinion about the internet

I love the internet and I accordingly assume that if you’ve chosen my website, perhaps you do too! From my point of view, the internet is exciting, interesting, dynamic and of course, useful, all at the same time.

The web is pretty good fun from a user’s point of view but probably this is only one part of the story. The best part of the story is how participatory and beneficial the internet is for all of us in most cases.

And with that in mind, let me introduce my self as just another WordPress developer and front-end web designer, into this wonderful universe of the web. All this while I am trying to virtually make the internet a better place and experience, for all of us. So, let’s bring progress to the internet! 🙂

What do my clients and colleagues thank me for?

Honesty and being helpful in all situations needed with the team at the office (but not only), it’s my start of the day! I love to listen to other’s opinions and understand their way of thinking process. Being on time with my projects and meeting those projects deadlines, it’s something I can’t stress enough in my career, either with my team colleagues at work or private clients for web design. Before starting to work on a new project, they are searching for some things called, personalities! Personality is something that I fundamentally poses, either is about a new web design strategy or dealing with every day life. Being relevant, having experience, Delivering results, Trustworthiness and Personality, are things that would define me as an individual, first, then second as a web designer.

As I always say! “The biggest project of my life is to bring progress in the webdesign & WordPress Development universe”.

Stuff I could do all day and never get bored!
  • Coding and finding new ways of progress for the web, but also creating new functionalities, by using my imagination and creativity for the progress.
  • Reading books.
  • Creating new websites with latest known technologies.
  • Surfing the web, searching for new web design and development information and keeping my self up to date with the latest trends in webdesign.

With the knowledge power of web design and the latest versions of technologies out there, I continuously come with new ideas and methodologies in creating more professional and successful web sites for the web and businesses!

A web site looks good because there is imagination and creativity in the process of creating that web site, but the web is in continuous changing and so is web design! Is not enough just to have a web site look good, but I always consider the functionality, accessibility, responsiveness and compatibility of a website design one of the most important aspects of a professional website.

What am I specialized in?

With the knowledge power of HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript latest versions, I continuously come with new ideas and methodologies in creating more professional and successful websites for the web and businesses! These 3 technologies are my main focus on mastering them. I specialize in clean web design, standards and accessible websites design focusing on the usability and accessibility.

I also do have great experience in the planning , designing and developing of websites from scratch, from PSD to html and up to CMS custom websites with WordPress. I have a good understanding of the whole processes as well as a good listening ear to details on project requirements and specifications.
